Bob and Barfing

I have a couple of cute stories about Chloe that I just had to share. Story One...

Chloe likes to watch Veggie Tales. It is on T.V. on Saturday mornings so I DVR the shows, and we watch them while she drinks her milk throughout the week. They are the same exact shows you pay $10-15 for at a book store but with commercials. Her favorite part is the beginning when Bob the tomato welcomes everyone to his house and they all sing a song together. She gets a big smile on her face and says "Boba, Boba." Well, yesterday, we were in the kitchen, and I pulled out a bright red tomato to put in our salad. Chloe points to my hand and says "Boba, Boba." I showed her a tomato again tonight just to make sure I was hearing her right and sure enough, she says "Boba, Boba." She is so darn smart!!! How she put the two together, who knows, but I am so proud of her! It's a good thing she doesn't realize yet what "Boba's" are for. :)

Next story...(This story is kind of gross so if you have a sensitive stomach you may not want to go on. Don't say I didn't warn you!)

As many of you know, I am pregnant, and I'm just now starting my second trimester.  I've had nausea and vomiting throughout the first trimester, but finally got anti-nausea meds at 12 weeks. I'm at 14 weeks now and thought I was in the clear. I was quite surprised when right after breakfast this morning, I had to run to the bathroom. Chloe is also avidly walking now so she follows me wherever I go. So we are in my bathroom and I'm standing there pucking my breakfast out and Chloe's standing behind me going, "Ha ha ha ha ha!"  I'm trying to block her with my body from getting into the potty area or getting splattered with vomit and at the same time trying to aim correctly. I'm sure it was a funny sight... minus the puck of course. I'm sorry if you don't feel the same way. I'm sure it's one of those things that, if you have kids, you at one point wondered what you would do if you were in the same situation. :)

(I'll spare you a picture here of some vomit. :)

HA HA-larious!!!

Oh, Chloe (and poor Mary)! Y'all are a riot! I have to comment on both stories...

Poor Boba! I was thinking the same thing about teaching her what happens to Boba in real life! If you want her to eat her veggies then I would put it off until she goes off to college.

Ok, and poor you! I'm glad you shared your story. It is good to at least think about what one would/should do in a situation like that. I'm not sure what I would do. With 2 little, little ones I've learned that I can't even go to the restroom without one in my arms..especially if the situation is urgent! I'm sure that if Chloe knew that you were shielding her she would thank you. And as for Chloe laughing at you... priceless!!

I love y'all! Thanks for the entertainment!

OMG!!! That is SO funny that she was laughing at you!!! She is so funny.
Another funny bob the tomato story...when Cheryl Lynn Moore was little she wanted to buy my dad a bob the tomato t-shirt because she thought he looked like Bob :)
So cute :)

Hey Mary!
Yes, I love the tile. The one bad thing is that dirt and dust collects and shows really easily. We have a dog and sometimes little piles of dog hair collects. I think it is good that the dirt shows so easily cause it helps it stay cleaner for Grace since she is crawling all over the place. I keep a dustbuster to pick up dirt when I don't have time to really clean. We both really love it though. You will have to send pictures if you do it in your house :)
Hope you are having a great week!
